Sample Itinerary

Below is the beginning of our itinerary. We will firm up the details as we get closer to the trip.

First Night: Welcome to Israel!!
Overnight: Jaffa

Meet at 3:30PM for group transfer from the Ben Gurion Airport when we’ll head to Jaffa for the next 3 nights!  We’ll take time this evening to walk along the Mediterranean, relax, and have dinner at a delicious restaurant.

Day 1:  Jaffa/Tel Aviv Region
Overnight: Jaffa

Following breakfast, we’ll visit the Palmach Museum which commemorates the contribution of the Palmach (the strike-force of the pre-state underground Haganah defense organization, which was later integrated into the Israel Defense Force) to the creation of the State of Israel.

Then we’ll head off to the Nachalat Binyamin outdoor arts and crafts fair where you’ll have time to roam around and enjoy the crazy energy of Tel Aviv! Have lunch at the Carmel Market or at a nice restaurant in the area…the choice is yours!

Dinner at BlackOut Restaurant where you’ll eat in total darkness. You will be served various dishes, escorted by blind waiters; they invite you to an exceptional culinary experience that will trigger your senses.

Day 2:  Jaffa/Tel Aviv Region

Overnight: Jaffa

We’ll begin our day with 1-2 hour SegWay tour of Jaffa! Then we’ll continue on with a walking tour of Jaffa (churches, the flea market (a great place to find lunch!) and then leisure time before a visit to a special play called Not By Bread Alone (click for more info).

Day 3:

Overnight: Akko (1st night of Ramadan)

Morning at leisure (perhaps you’ll choose to swim in the Meditterranean Sea and just sit at the beach for coffee!). Then we’ll check out of our hotel and head off to explore the many nooks and crannies of Israel!  Perhaps to Zichron Ya’akov…one of my favorite small towns!
